Complex of Angkor Thom
Located next to the Angkor Wat temple complex, Angkor Thom is also a temple that you should definitely visit. Angkor Thom is a big capital in 12 century and there are many beautiful temples in it especially the main one called Bayon temple it is in the middle of Angkor Thom city. This place is indeed a place where you will find it extremely interesting to have the opportunity to learn in detail about the ancient Khmer culture. The temple is designed with extremely fancy architecture including a system of palaces, temples, etc., very eye-catching.

Angkor National Museum

Tonle Sap Lake
For those who wish to travel a little further afield, venture out to Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and river system known as the Tonlé Sap. Here you can cruise past the stilted villages on the lake, like in the town of Kampong Phluk that soars above the water in the dry season and sits on top of the water in the rainy season. For an alternative experience to watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, we recommend getting out on the lake early in the morning. This is when the village slowly wakes up and a blistering sun rises over the water before locals head off to work and children row themselves to school.
The street markets
Local markets are central to Cambodia’s neighbors and are packed with people early in the morning as people clamor for the freshest food of the day.
The Russian Market and Central Market in Phnom Penh whip up everything from clothing, souvenirs, music, and DVDs to food, household items, and vehicle parts. In Siem Reap, Angkor Night Market and Old Market are also very popular centers. Get ready to haggle!
